Book the exact pitch — and never twice
A Stellplatz lives or dies on availability being right. Grondia runs a real-time booking engine on an interactive pitch map: the guest sees which pitches are free for their dates and picks the exact one they want.
Every hold is atomic. The moment a pitch is taken it is gone for everyone else, so two motorhomes can never be sold the same spot — no double-bookings, ever, even when three people book at once on a bank-holiday morning.
One QR opens the barrier
Each guest gets a digital guest card: a single QR code that opens the barrier and the showers and unlocks partner discounts. It works in German, French, Italian and English, so a passing tourer understands it without help.
The QR is the key — there is no licence-plate camera and no number-plate recognition to install, calibrate or explain. The guest scans, the barrier lifts, and there are no keypad codes to reset or key fobs to hand back.
Self check-in, no reception desk
An aire usually has nobody at the desk, so check-in has to happen without you. With self / online check-in the guest fills in and digitally signs their Meldeschein before they arrive, in the canton’s official format.
That means the registration is done, the visitor-tax record is created and the guest card is issued before the motorhome ever reaches the barrier. Self check-in is included from the Professional plan up.
The money arrives before the guest does
Guests pay online at the moment they book — TWINT, Visa, Mastercard or PostFinance — as a deposit or the full amount, whichever you choose. There is no per-booking commission, so a CHF 35 overnight stay stays CHF 35.
Every invoice is a compliant Swiss QR-Bill carrying a structured QR-IBAN reference, so a bank transfer lands already matched to the right booking. Nothing to chase, nothing to reconcile by hand at month end.
Compliance that runs while you sleep
The Meldeschein is captured and retained for every guest, the per-commune Kurtaxe is worked out by guest type with its exemptions and caps, and HESTA overnight statistics are compiled from your check-ins and filed on schedule with an audit trail.
All of it runs on infrastructure hosted only in ISO 27001-certified Swiss data centres — nothing replicated abroad — with every access to guest data logged and retention enforced under the nDSG.
