Tents, pods and cabins are real units, not notes in a spreadsheet
In Grondia a safari tent, a pod and a two-bedroom cabin are each a first-class bookable unit type, with its own rates, its own minimum stay and its own arrival-day rules. A pod can require two nights and Saturday arrivals while a bell tent takes any night for a single night — and the booking engine enforces each rule at the point of booking.
Seasonal pricing is built in, so a July weekend and a rainy Tuesday in October carry the price you set for each, automatically.
Guests pick the exact pod on the map
Glamping guests care which unit they get — the pod by the trees, not the one by the car park. The interactive pitch map lets them see and choose the exact unit for their dates.
Every hold is atomic: the moment a unit is booked it disappears from everyone else’s search, so two couples can never land on the same tent. No double-bookings, no awkward apology email.
Price the peak, protect the shoulder
Seasonal pricing covers the calendar you already know. When you want the price to move on its own, the optional Dynamic Pricing add-on (CHF 50/month) uses occupancy and season to adjust rates as demand shifts — nudging the last pod up on a sold-out weekend and filling midweek gaps.
You can take a deposit or full pre-payment at booking, so a high-value cabin night is secured before the date rather than hoped for.
One folio for the whole experience
Glamping revenue is more than the bed: the hot-tub slot, the breakfast basket, the guided kayak tour. Grondia’s POS charges the shop, restaurant and activities straight to the guest’s running folio — pitch, extras and visitor tax on one bill, settled once at check-out.
Every invoice is a compliant Swiss QR-Bill that reconciles itself through its structured QR-IBAN reference, and there is no per-booking commission taken out of the middle.
A guest experience that matches the price tag
The guest portal ships in German, French, Italian and English out of the box, so guests book and manage their stay in their own language. Online check-in lets them sign their registration before arrival, and the digital guest card is a single QR that opens the barrier, the pool and the showers and carries partner discounts.
Your own glamping website comes with it: the included website builder embeds the booking widget, so guests book the exact pod directly with you rather than through an agent.
