Do I have to buy the hardware through Grondia?
You don’t have to, but it is the smoother path. Grondia supplies, installs and supports the terminals, the self-check-in kiosk and the till peripherals, so everything arrives configured and works with the software from day one. Talk to us and we will put together a setup that fits your site.
Which card terminals do you use?
Worldline terminals, which take contactless, Girocard and cards. They are integrated into Grondia’s till as the Karte (Terminal) payment method, so a charge you start at the Kasse is taken on the terminal and posted straight to the guest’s bill — no amount re-keyed and no separate machine to reconcile.
What can guests do at the self-check-in kiosk?
Register and sign the Meldeschein, pay any balance and the Kurtaxe, and collect their key or gate code. It is an unattended arrival, so guests can check in after hours and reception is never the bottleneck on a busy Friday.
What till peripherals are included?
The counter kit around the Kasse: a receipt printer, a cash drawer and a barcode scanner. They come pre-configured, so you plug them in and sell — no driver hunt and no afternoon lost to setup.
Do I rent or buy the hardware?
Either can work, depending on how your site runs — we keep it flexible rather than forcing one model. Tell us how you handle reception and the shop and we will propose a setup, and a way to pay for it, that fits. The hardware is supplied and supported either way.
