Built for the Nordics. Or built for your municipality.
Compusoft is a large, feature-rich Danish platform with real scale in the Nordic market. Grondia is a smaller Swiss platform built for the rules and rails of one region. This is a fit comparison, not a feature contest — and we will say plainly where Compusoft is the stronger answer.
Who Compusoft is for
Compusoft, based in Søndersø, Denmark, describes CompuCamp as a "leading booking system for campsites, resorts and holiday parks" and an all-in-one booking solution, serving — in the vendor’s own words — "600+ ambitious campsites, motorhome sites, holiday resorts, marinas, attractions, theme parks and holiday parks". The vendor names Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Germany as the markets it serves, and claims that more than 80% of Danish camping transactions run through CompuCamp. Those are their figures, from their site; we have no way to verify them and no reason to dispute them.
The product is broad: dynamic pricing, a channel manager with OTA sync including Airbnb, guest apps (cWallet, cPay), access control with wristbands, self-service kiosks (CompuTouch), point of sale and ticketing, energy metering and BI dashboards. If you run a large resort with kiosks, wristbands and a ticketed attraction, that is a serious toolkit — and Grondia is not going to out-feature it. Say so out loud: for that operation, Compusoft is a credible choice.
The question for a DACH buyer is narrower. Compusoft’s site is published in Danish, English, German and Swedish; French and Italian are not among them, and Switzerland and Austria are not among the markets the vendor names. For a lakeside site in Ticino or a family campground in Graubünden, that is not a knock on the software — it is a statement about which country’s rules and languages it was shaped by.

“Not publicly documented” means we found no statement about it on the vendor’s public pages. It does not mean the capability is absent — if it matters to you, ask them directly.
Everything stated about Compusoft (CompuCamp) comes from the vendor’s own public pages, checked on 17 July 2026; their own claims are attributed as such. Everything stated about Grondia is what we publish elsewhere on this site. Websites change — check both for yourself before you decide.
What Grondia is built for
Your data sits in Switzerland, under Swiss law
Databases, backups and files in Swiss data centres; CampOne GmbH domiciled in Herrliberg, operating under the revised Federal Act on Data Protection. For a German operator handing guest IDs to a system, jurisdiction is the whole question.
The Swiss obligations are the product, not a plugin
guest-night statistics, Kurtaxe and the Meldeschein come from the data captured at booking and check-in. A platform shaped by Danish and Swedish requirements has no particular reason to build that; we had no choice.
French and Italian, because Germany has four languages
The interface runs in German, French, Italian and English, and we operate French- and Italian-default campsite sites in production. Romandie and Ticino are markets, not edge cases.
Right-sized for an independent site
If you need wristbands and a ticketed theme park, we are the wrong vendor and we will tell you so. If you run a campsite and want one calendar, one guest, one bill, that is exactly what Grondia is.
You can find out what it costs without a sales call
From € 150 per month billed yearly, plus a one-time onboarding fee — published on the pricing page.

Common questions
- Is Compusoft available in Germany?
- Ask them — we can only tell you what their site says, which is that they serve campsites in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Germany. Germany and Austria are not among the markets they name, and their site is published in Danish, English, German and Swedish. None of that means they would turn you away; it means the product was shaped by other countries’ requirements.
- Does Compusoft do guest-night statistics and Kurtaxe?
- Not documented on their public pages, which is not the same as absent — ask them, and ask for a demo with your own last return. For Grondia, guest-night statistics, Kurtaxe and the Meldeschein are generated from the guest data already captured at booking and check-in.
- Compusoft looks like it has more features. Does it?
- On the hardware and large-resort side, quite possibly — their site describes self-service kiosks, wristband access control, ticketing and energy metering, and we do not offer a wristband or ticketing product. If those are on your requirements list, take them seriously. Feature count is the wrong axis for most campsites; the right one is whether the system does your country’s paperwork and speaks your guests’ languages.
- What does Compusoft cost?
- They do not publish a rate card — it is demo or contact only — so we genuinely do not know, and we are not going to invent a number to compare against. Ours is on the pricing page: from € 150 per month billed yearly plus a one-time onboarding fee.
- A note on searching for reviews
- If you go looking for third-party reviews, be careful: searches for "Compusoft" frequently surface results for "Commusoft", an unrelated UK field-service tool. They are different companies. We mention it because we fell over it ourselves while researching this page, and a review of the wrong product is worse than no review at all.
