German rules, already handled in the workflow
Cash register, guest registration, tourist tax, accounting and data protection — Grondia maps the obligations of German campsites, so every check-in and every receipt automatically does the right thing.
The obligations — and how Grondia takes them on
Cash register with TSE & DSFinV-K
Every till needs a BSI-certified security module (TSE) that signs each transaction so it can’t be altered. Receipts must be issued (digital is fine), records kept for 10 years GoBD-compliant and tamper-proof — and ready on demand as a DSFinV-K audit export.
Register your till with the tax office
Since 2025 every electronic cash register must be reported to the Finanzamt — make, serial and TSE number, via “Mein ELSTER”. New systems within one month of acquisition.
Meldeschein — correct since 2025
Since 1 January 2025 only foreign guests must complete and sign a Meldeschein on arrival; German nationals no longer do. Meldescheine are kept for one year, then deleted on time.
Tourist tax & guest card
Kurbeitrag / Gästebeitrag (earmarked, per person per night) and Bettensteuer / city tax (a percentage of the overnight price) differ by municipality. The site collects, reconciles and issues the guest card.
Accounting & tax advisor
Your tax advisor expects a clean DATEV export; smaller businesses keep their own books in Lexware Office (formerly lexoffice) or sevDesk. All GoBD-compliant.
Data protection & DPA
Anyone processing guest data on your behalf is a processor and needs a ready-to-sign data-processing agreement (AVV) with technical and organisational measures (TOMs). GDPR and BDSG apply.
Tailored to the German camping market
Not just translated — built around the payment and distribution rails German sites and guests actually use.

Classification & association
Fits BVCD/DTV and ADAC classification — from the interactive site map to barrier and power-pillar integrations.
Compliance FAQ
Does Grondia meet the TSE / cash-register duty under § 146a AO?
Yes. Every transaction is signed by a BSI-certified TSE, receipts are issued, and the DSFinV-K audit export is available on demand for a Kassennachschau — retained GoBD-compliant.
How does Grondia handle the Meldeschein since 2025?
German guests no longer complete a Meldeschein. Grondia only requires it from foreign guests, captures the signature digitally, and deletes the data automatically once the one-year retention period ends.
Do I get a DATEV export for my tax advisor?
Yes — as a Buchungsstapel or via DATEV Unternehmen online. Lexware Office (formerly lexoffice) and sevDesk connectors too.
Where is my data hosted?
In the EU / Switzerland, which has an EU adequacy decision — no US cloud. A data-processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR comes ready to sign.
