Grondia
Website builder + booking widget

A campsite website that takes real bookings on day one

Grondia includes a website builder with an embedded booking widget in every plan — so the site you publish and the engine that sells your pitches are the same product, not a page bolted onto a plugin. No IT knowledge required.

The builder and the booking engine are one product

The website builder ships in every Grondia plan, from Starter upward, with the booking widget already embedded. You are not buying a site here and a reservation plugin there and hoping they talk to each other.

What a guest sees on your page is wired straight to the same real-time availability the front desk works from. Publish a page, and it can take a paid booking the same day.

The widget is the real engine, not a contact form

The embedded widget runs Grondia’s real-time booking engine. Guests see an interactive pitch map, pick the exact pitch they want, and the atomic locking behind it means the same pitch can never be sold twice.

Every unit type on your site is bookable on its own terms — tourers, motorhomes, cabins, pods, glamping tents and long-stay contracts, each with its own rates, minimum stays and arrival-day rules, plus seasonal pricing. The rules are enforced at the moment of booking, not caught later by a human.

Guests pay on your page, and you keep the whole amount

Bookings are paid on your own site at the moment they are made — by Girocard, Visa, Mastercard or PayPal, or settled later against a SEPA invoice. Grondia takes no per-booking commission, so a direct booking on your website stays entirely yours.

Card data is tokenised by a PCI DSS Level 1 provider and never touches Grondia’s servers, and Swiss payment methods run through a licensed Swiss payment provider.

Four languages, hosted in Switzerland

The guest-facing portal ships in German, French, Italian and English out of the box, so an international guest books in their own language without you translating a thing.

The whole platform is hosted exclusively in ISO 27001-certified Swiss data centres — nothing is replicated abroad. Traffic is TLS 1.3, data at rest is AES-256, and guest data is retained under the GDPR.

If you would rather not touch it at all

You do not need any technical skill to run the builder, and onboarding — configuration, data migration and training — takes about two weeks.

If you would rather hand it off entirely, Website Maintenance & SEO is an add-on at € 50 per month; the core builder and booking widget stay included either way.

Frequently asked questions

Is the website builder an extra I have to pay for?
No. The website builder with its embedded booking widget is included in every Grondia plan, from Starter upward. The only optional extra is Website Maintenance & SEO at € 50 per month if you would rather someone else keep the site up to date.
Do I need a developer or any IT knowledge to build the site?
No. The builder is made for campsite operators, not developers. Onboarding covers configuration, data migration and training and takes about two weeks, after which you can edit the site yourself.
How does the site actually take bookings?
The embedded widget runs Grondia’s real-time booking engine. Guests see an interactive pitch map, choose their exact pitch, and pay on the spot by Girocard, Visa, Mastercard or PayPal, or against a SEPA invoice. Atomic locking makes double-bookings impossible.
Does Grondia take a commission on bookings from my own website?
No. There is no per-booking commission. A booking made through the widget on your own site stays entirely yours — that is the point of booking direct instead of through an OTA.
Where is my site and my guests’ data hosted?
Exclusively in ISO 27001-certified Swiss data centres, with nothing replicated abroad. Traffic uses TLS 1.3, data at rest is AES-256, and guest data is retained under the GDPR.
